Hospital Orientation

Personalized orientation to the hospital is available to any member of the Saint Joseph Health Medical Staff. This informal orientation is specific to your specialty and specifically designed to acquaint you with the departments with which you will be working. You may arrange a personalized tour of Saint Joseph Hospital by calling the Physician Services Department at 859.313.1096.

Physician Ambassador Program

The Physician Ambassador Program is designed to strengthen the relationship between Saint Joseph Health, the internal medical staff, and service area referring physicians. Physician ambassadors meet individually with each member of our medical staff throughout the year to discuss hospital services and any concerns or issues. Continuing Medical Education

Saint Joseph Health is accredited by the Kentucky Medical Association to sponsor Category I continuing medical education for physicians. The goal of the CME Office is to offer quality and convenient educational activities which inform physicians about the latest advances in medicine, pharmacotherapy, and patient care.

The services offered by the CME Office are directly or jointly sponsored live activities, regularly schedule conferences, enduring materials, such as CD-ROMs, and audio/videotapes. A copy of CME News, a monthly listing of CME offerings, is mailed to each member of our medical staff and can be viewed by logging onto our website.
