Crystal Heart Ball 2011

The Crystal Heart Ball was held on February 5, 2011 at the London Community Center. The Crystal Heart Ball benefits the Saint Joseph London heart and Healthy Communities programs which provide outreach in our community. Funding last year provided support for screening clinics for identification of risk factors of heart disease, community education events on prevention and identification of heart disease and heart medication for the indigent. Funding allowed the Healthy Communities program to provide outreach in the form of 750 flu vaccines, 285 education packet for heart failure patients, 56 scales for heart failure patients and 380 community health screenings for glucose and cholesterol for the indigent population in our area.

The evening was a sellout event! Three hundred and twenty tickets were purchased for the event. Eight person tables were sponsored by local businesses as well. Cumberland Valley National Bank was our Gold Sponsor. 1st National Bank was our Silver Sponsor. Bronze sponsors include Flowers Bakery and FK Perkins and Co, PLLC. 

The London Community Center was transformed into a lovely scene of silver and blue. Chef Terry with Saint Joseph London Food services and his crew prepared our meal. Lobster tail, a vegetarian dish and carved tenderloin were on the menu. DJ Anthony Blendz from Texas was our entertainment and kept the crowd on the dance floor. A silent auction with over 60 items was also part of the evening's entertainment. At the end of the evening over $17,000 was netted from this event.
