Saint Joseph Cancer Center Resource Services

The staff of the Saint Joseph Cancer Center understands that cancer affects the entire family, not just the person diagnosed. That's why Resource Services offers personal attention and support services to address physical, emotional and spiritual needs before, during and after cancer treatment. Our team also recognizes that quality of life is as important as longevity, and the Saint Joseph Cancer Center Resource Services are committed to helping with both. With the mission to blend humanity with technology, the cancer support and survivorship services offer as much comfort as information, including:
- One-to-one consultation with a nurse navigator, social worker, chaplain and clinical dietitian
- Networking and Support Groups
- Ongoing financial, nutritional, spiritual, side effect and symptom management education series
- A library with take-away materials from ten national cancer organizations, a computer with tailored internet access and 350 loaner books and audio/visuals available on various cancer related topics
- Mind/Body Wellness Presentations
- A music expression program
- Love on a Leash visits from the Central Kentucky Chapter
- Light Chair Massage Events
