Noelle (Rizzo) Leung PharmD (R1)

Dr. Noelle (Rizzo) Leung is originally from Wilmington, Delaware and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May 2009 from the University Of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in Lexington, Kentucky. She completed her PGY1 residency at Saint Joseph East and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Certificate in June 2010. Dr. Leung currently practices as a Clinical Staff Pharmacist at the University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Her primary practice responsibilities are to provide clinical services to the progressive and acute care pediatric teams as well as staff within the pediatric satellite. In the fall of 2011 she became the preceptor for the UKMC pediatric rotation for 4th year APPE students from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. She is also involved with teaching of various pharmacy groups including the Pharmacy Technician Training Program, the UKMC pharmacy intern program, and the pediatric elective course at the UK College of Pharmacy. Additionally, Dr. Leung works as a pharmacist with Latin American Missions in coordinating pharmacy services during medical missions to underserved populations in Panama, Peru, Nicaragua, and El Salvador. In her spare time, Dr. Leung enjoys the outdoors, traveling, cooking, and distance running.

Dr. Swank is originally from Fort Wayne, IN and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May of 2010 from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Swank completed The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Certificate Program offered by the University of Kentucky. Dr. Swank became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist in December of 2011 and completed a PGY2 Specialty Residency in Internal Medicine at the Richard L. Roudebush Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Indianapolis, IN in June of 2012. She currently practices as a Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator at St. John’s Health Care in Anderson, IN. Responsibilities include patient care, staff education, and implementation of new clinical services. In her spare time, Dr. Swank enjoys spending time with family, reading, and cheering for the Indianapolis Colts.

Dr. Vallabh is originally from Corbin, Kentucky and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May of 2010 from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy in Lexington, Kentucky. She completed The Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Certificate Program offered by the University of Kentucky, and became a Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist in December of 2011. Dr. Vallabh currently practices as a Clinical Pharmacist at Saint Joseph East. Her practice responsibilities include optimizing patient care, providing education to patients and healthcare professionals in the Intensive Care and Telemetry units. She also serves as an advisor and preceptor for pharmacy practice residents at Saint Joseph East and precepts fourth-year students from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy. Dr. Vallabh enjoys traveling, cooking, and watching her Kentucky Wildcats win.

Dr. Hashem is originally from Greenville, SC and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May of 2011 from the South Carolina College of Pharmacy in Columbia, SC. Dr. Hashem completed the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Certificate Program offered by the University of Kentucky. Dr. Hashem currently practices as a PGY-2 Infectious Disease resident at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. In her spare time, she enjoys running, kickboxing, reading and cheering for her Gamecocks!

Dr. Truong is originally from Houston, Texas and received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in May of 2011 from the University of Houston College of Pharmacy in Houston, Texas. She completed her PGY-1 residency at Saint Joseph East and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning Program offered by the University of Kentucky in 2010. Dr. Truong currently practices as a Clinical Pharmacist at the University of Louisville Hospital primarily rounding within intensive care and internal medicine units. Her outside interests include cooking, travelling, and the arts.
